By accessing or using ReadMyDNA ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
ReadMyDNA provides a browser-based DNA analysis tool that processes your raw genetic data file locally on your device. The Service is designed for educational and informational purposes only. ReadMyDNA is not a medical device, diagnostic tool, or healthcare service.
The analysis results provided by ReadMyDNA do not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment recommendations. The information generated is based on publicly available scientific research and reference databases and is intended for educational exploration only.
Results should not be used to make medical decisions without consulting a qualified healthcare professional. Always seek the advice of your physician or other qualified health provider with any questions you may have regarding a medical condition or genetic finding.
No DNA data is collected, stored, or transmitted to our servers. All genomic analysis runs entirely client-side within your web browser using WebAssembly technology. Your genetic data never leaves your device.
We do not have access to, and cannot recover, your DNA data or analysis results. You are solely responsible for managing and safeguarding your raw DNA data file.
ReadMyDNA provides the analysis engine (delivered as WebAssembly code) and reference databases (publicly available scientific data served as static assets). These components are loaded into your browser to perform local analysis of your DNA data file.
ReadMyDNA requires a one-time payment for access. There are no recurring charges, subscriptions, or hidden fees. Payment is processed securely through Stripe.
All sales are final. Due to the nature of the digital product (the analysis is consumed immediately upon delivery), refunds are not available once the analysis engine and reference databases have been delivered to your browser.
The Service, including its analysis engine, user interface, and documentation, is the intellectual property of ReadMyDNA. The reference databases used are derived from publicly available scientific data sources. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the Service for its intended purpose.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the analysis results are complete, accurate, or suitable for any particular use.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, ReadMyDNA and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of or inability to use the Service, any decisions made based on analysis results, or unauthorized access to or alteration of your data on your own device.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
